Rutland & Stamford Mercury Business Awards

Winners of the ninth annual Mercury Business Awards announced

The winners of the Mercury Business Awards 2014 were unveiled at a glittering awards ceremony at Greetham Valley Hotel, Golf and Conference Centre on Thursday, May 15.

New green award

The new Green Achievement award was sponsored by Princeenergy, part of the long-established Princebuild Group.

Princeenergy director, Mark Asplin, said he was particularly pleased to be able to sponsor the Green Achievement Award.

"Princeenergy are at the cutting edge of offering green energy solutions from solar panels to biomass heating and we are keen to support this excellent initiative in the Rutland and Stamford Mercury Business Awards," said Mr Asplin.

"Stamford and the surrounding area is becoming more and more environmentally focussed with regards to alternative sustainable fuels and energy conservation so this award category is so very relevant," he said.
